Before a wireless internet installation can take place, a site survey is required to confirm that your location is technically suitable for a stable and reliable connection. This step ensures optimal signal quality and prevents performance issues after installation.

Purpose of the Site Survey

The site survey determines whether your location has:

  • Clear line-of-sight (LOS) to the nearest wireless tower or high site.
  • Acceptable signal strength and quality (RSSI and SNR levels).
  • Minimal interference from nearby wireless devices or other radio sources.
  • Feasible mounting and cabling options for the outdoor antenna (CPE).

What Technicians Check

During the survey, our technicians perform several technical checks using specialized tools and equipment:
